She is a musician, loves and writes all kinds of music, loves Gaga and has a particular affinity for ARTPOP. When I said hi to her, she said "Do you have your iPod? When more people get here, I want you to put on ARTPOP." "Which song?" "Just play the whole thing." So I did. Everyone was dancing and grooving to the album from the very beginning, and a lot of people didn't seem to know who it was. They were surprised when they learned that it is all Gaga. They commented on how spirited the music was, and how versatile her vocal ability was (duh!). I overheard someone say "I don't know if I like Gaga... but I like this." It was crazy and exciting to see 20+ non-fans enjoying the album and awaiting the next track. At the end of the night, I passed through the kitchen to say goodbye and noticed this written on the dry erase board. Made me smile...
