Last week Beyonce happened and no one in mainstream music was stupid enough to get lost in that mix. Now we're edging closer to Christmas, and that's not a good time either. I think either Interscope doesn't like it, or her team wants to sit out this mini R. Kelly PR storm (tho nothing in that article is new info). If its too s-xual it would just seem in poor taste atm, but if that is the case, by all means, release it December 26 so it can go under the radar and she can move onto the next single. If the video is really good, and doesn't ruffle too many feathers they should still try to pick a good time and go all out with the MTV premiere. The good thing is that DWUW is picking up steam on radio, so after this holiday "freeze" happens it may start to peak, then wham, she can close out the DWUW era with the MV. R. Kelly responded with a weak a--logy about football and how people are just trying to bring him down. He also had a Q&A on twitter recently, and that didn't go well either. If she comes out with the vid and its all s-xual, we must prepare ourselves for think pieces galore (not that it wouldn't have happened before, but the scrutinity about him has increased a bit).
