DIVA 666
Well, all of the albums are terrific, but for me that's probably my least favorite because it has the least musical depth to me. The other albums are a little more daring musically and thematically. Love it though. What I love most about The Fame was the retro yet futuristic pop vibe she gave off during interviews and performances, but the music itself doesn't sound as rich to me. We're all Stronger Together! britneylopez99 0
i really think that applause was the best choice Only problem is: the song didn't exist yet when the VMAs happened... wait.. how do you know?
Magdalena 3
When I think about the 4 hit tracks it had, the other songs seem less valuable to me. Maybe becuase those 4 singles are at the begining of the album?
Marco 731
I don't think it's her worst, it's just not my favorite… If that makes sense.
elijahfan 26,720
I think Gaga just kinda made that up in the end. Someone asked Davey (her sound engineer) a long time ago which one of the guys produced the song Gaga wanted as the lead single? And he responded something like "who said it was a guy?" That very same sound engineer also said that the Aura leak was an early demo
Bio 23,538
People who don't like The Fame probably weren't a fan back then. I just wanna shoot a b---h when someone calls it generic. How can it be generic when there was nothing like it in 2008? It completely redefine the direction of pop music. And to the guy who said the songs had no meaning, it's probably one of her most meaningful album, just after Born This Way. If you don't like The Fame you probably don't like Gaga 'cause it's got her personality all over it.
elijahfan 26,720
wait.. how do you know? Many clues here and there. She was in full seashell girl mode around August/September. Her VMA appearance apparently inspired the lyrics "garden panty" and "don't you know my ass is famous". But most importantly, we know for sure she recorded the track in September when she posted this on LM.com: studio time giving birth to *VENUS* https://littlemonsters.com/post/523ba32c98d9db0053b1ed27

phoenixxx 33
My issue now is that if she has the time to lurk LM, Paint, and complain about her former management, why isn't she using said time for the video? I mean I'm not on the inside but if she had a problem with time, she has a little bit of time to do it now unless she's busy with tour etc If not for the charts/satisfaction of everyone, but for her own self satisfaction because she can't just work on the video as and when she feels like it. The resources for the production (financial and logistical) are only available at specific times. As a costume designer I've worked on loads of jobs where you're more or less twiddling your thumbs for ages, because you can't do stuff, and then when you can do stuff you have to do EVERYTHING at the same time and you have to go for 72 hours at a time without sleep. It's hideous.
