I have to make sure I don't come in this thread until after I see it Friday afternoon. I don't want to see any spoilers! :P

Just a few more pages until I have read The Hunger Games for the third time!

Potential spoiler:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I expect Peeta's face to be EXACTLY like this in the movie :lmao:

I finished the books lastnight. Holy ****. I am so ready for the movie. I hope they don't tone it down too much, but everyone's saying that the blood is still very present.

And holy ****. The last two books ****ing winded me so much. The amount of emotion and violence in it..I've never read such madness in any other young adult books.

If Mockingjay were to be a movie, and kept exactly to the book, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets an "R" MPAA rating, because of things like (MAJOR SPOILERS):

Messalia (sp?) getting her skin melted off from the pod, the dead bodies in 12, the devastation in the hospital in 8, the mutts decapitating people in the Capitol, the children exploding, the scabs on everyone, etc etc.

But yeah. I've never been so emotionally attached to a book and its characters before. Probably because they were faced with such traumatizing circumstances, I had to feel for them. No other fictional book has done that to me- only LOST and certain films (The Help, La Vita Bella, and others) have ever made me cry. This series had me screaming, crying, dropping my jaw, and so much more in almost every chapter. I never cared for the love **** with Gale and Peeta. But every other love attachment from Katniss, and all the crazy **** that went down..well, it all played with my emotions so well. And I ****ing love it.

This series blows any other young adult series out of the water. :legend: :legend: :legend: :legend: :legend:
