We only know about artRave, but that's just a party in New York which will hardly have any promotion value (I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure it will be great, but let's face it: it's not airing on TV or anywhere, so that's just a sweet present from Gaga to her fans). She is also said to appear at SNL, but we don't know when. SNL might help her in a big way if she does it November, 16/November, 23 to sustain the further album sales. If she is able to sell from 375,000 to 400,000 copies with the amount of promo she has done so far, then they better move all the promo events a little further so that the album achieves the longevity in sales. I don't know but she will probably be on several TV Shows the week of the release and I really hope she'll be on SNL + maybe X Factor America or whatever ... Doesn't Gaga have way more fans than him?? he debuted with more then a million gaga does have a much bigger fan base but: but JT hasn't released anything since like 2006 when he released 20/20 and it was really long awaited. He had a good fan base, he had a big movie career and all. He also is probably more appealing then Gaga to the straight guys. I'm thinking she would have done 475 maybe if she was lucky. What?! Gaga's sales were just under 700K at full price and 400K+ from Amazon. This is a decline for sure. Though a 400K opening week would still be really good if she could manage it. If I remember correctly they predicted a debut week of 750k and he smashed that by moving over a million. Lets hope Gaga follows in that trend. I just feel Born this Way was a lot more about her fans and less about making commercial music, unlike ARTPOP which is made to be foie gras for the masses.
