calmar 22,208 Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 I highly doubt Gaga's poring over this thread, but on the (very) off chance she is -- My dog died the morning of the PSATs (pre-SATs, for those not in the USA; they're the litmus tests for the main high school tests for college here.) I felt as if I could hardly pay attention, so I forced myself that day to focus despite myself. To pour all of my grief into the test. I scored the highest PSAT score in the history of my school. Negative emotions don't have to hold you back, and you can use your loss to make you stronger.
