First off you should take control of your parenting skills and if you don't want your children watching a grown woman dance in a bikini then don't let them.

Second it was hardly provocative or risque considering daytime commercials for products such as women's razors have women prancing around on a beach wearing less than that.

I mean come on... :coffee:

I love it when this stuff happens. People get so riled up, it's so funny! I LOATHE the excuse people use saying "children are watching this"; your kids are your responsibility, if you don't want them to see - turn it over for five minutes. Once again people being shocked and appalled with the female body being on display, I hate the way certain societies deal with nudity and s-xuality as taboo; nudity (she wasn't nude I know, but near enough) should be celebrated; it's not like she was getting herself off on stage. Trying to sweep the topic of s-x under the rug and acting like it's 'dangerous' will ultimately do more damage to kids than good. There's a line absolutely, but come on; this was not vulgar and no worse than a child seeing people in bikinis at the beach on holiday. Each to their own and that's fine, but like I said: if you don't like it, then don't look.

Well, I also thought DWYW was unnecessarily "s-xy", but Venus was not vulgar in any way.

Unnecessarily s-xy? What does that mean? She danced and squirmed around in a bikini on stage. That was rather tame from her, but whatever.
