The fact that it has managed to match the weeks of Roar since the almost simultaneous release (and the huge gap between its AI on radio and in digital sales) makes it more impressive. Applause did (and still does) a great job.

Yup! An 11th week is almost guaranteed too. Rap God will fall out of the Top 10 putting Applause up to #8, but safely assuming Demons and Counting Stars pass it, it will fall to the lowest it's ever been at #10. I think that will be Applause's final week.

It's run is still nothing short of amazing! :)

Forrest Gump

this chart made me realize pop music was really decent as a whole this year. i don't hate over 50% of the songs listed.

 

i lot of good songs were charting this year.
