dc1993 1
watching it again it's like... THIS IS SO GOOD. X-factor's audio guys clearly could have mixed the instrumental in better though
Nicole 1,809
I feel like in terms of planning, DWUW was a bit rushed. I would've preferred maybe some simple choreo rather than her crawling on the floor. Overall I really enjoyed both performances. I'm really loving the whole less-is-more- attitude she has, you can really see how happy she is on the stage even without crazy wigs and costumes. Good to see how fresh, happy and healthy she is. Klinky 2
It looked like one fell off so she just ripped the other off. That was one of the issues I had - she looked like she was wearing something you'd see in a homemade Applause parody. She needs some stronger glue
LStephens11 15
Vocally it was a little subpar for me and the performance seemed a bit rushed, but I loved the acapella of "Do What U Want" at the end and when she snatched that wig off - her natural hair is beautiful and she is stunning with it! 7 out of
MarcsARTPOP 1
It was a simple performance that showcased her voice really well
Alphaz 7,956
I really love the performance, especially Venus, DWUW not so much, it's lack of something but I love DWUW more as a song DWUW performance was clearly last minute thought out
Alive 1
She sounded amazing , but the lack of fashion was a tad bit disappointing but overall still a good performance
MonstrousReality 0
That was F****ING AMAZING. So apt that it was on a show called x-factor, 'cause that performance reminded me of just how much stage presence this woman has. That 'it' factor was on show, in full-force, without (as gaga has pointed out she wants to do this era), a whole lot of crazy outfits and staging. And it worked. The only thing I found a little off was the beginning, Gaga doesn't seem to have a guitar skills down just yet, but her vocals more than made up for it. Still, best performance from Gaga I've seen since....I don't know when.
itschino1 66
Uhm... That vocal performance... MAJE! I can't! So good!
FrozenKookie 2,638
It's just sad to read these comments, even on this forum alone and I can't even dare to look on Twitter furthermore. Haters are given but the standards of her fans are bull****, exaggerated and absurd. She's no god and DWUW was rushed and I'm glad she pulled it out well still, and for a basic pop star standards that's already outstanding. Ppl always expect something groundbreaking from her and now some viewers call her crazy and weird because of the awkward stuff she did on the stage floor while singing DWUW, I'm just sad  In all honesty it was a bit awkward and I felt that there's something wrong with her vocals, maybe she has a cold or just her headset but she still managed to highlight her voice and she ended the performance really well, right? It was no fiasco nor even failure, an ordinary person would rate it 7-8/10. Am I really missing something or this world is really just damn hateful and vile :(
Dylangaga 216
I love how simple this was and how it showed how amazing gagas vocals are
Miel 15,009
I didn't really notice the lights up until my mother pointed them out. The whole laser/backdrop emphasis really make the stage larger than it really is, which definitely added to the presence. Not my favorite performance. The guitar part was embarrassing, does she even play that? I'm not a hater but is she running out of ideas? She should put more money in her TV performances like she used to do when she first came out. I think she just started playing guitar about a year and a half ago. Though, that was during the BTWB with the electric, and I feel like she learned exclusively Electric Chapel notes on the electric (not guitar as a whole). She did lib a bit around the later dates, I assume when she started getting more comfortable with it. As for acoustic, idk maybe she just recently started playing as a whole? She was doing mainly simple chord strums, so that's what I assume. 3 points in and ready for more
