Outside of the US it's usualto peak in your first week. 2. There's no radio deal 3. I don't think sending it to radio affects it a lot outside of Englsh-speaking countries. Applause is so inspirational. It has gone through so much and still putting up a fight. :emo: I'm glad that Interscope didn't panic when it stopped doing well in August and early September. It would have been terrible had they rush-released a second single like Venus. That could have potentially destroyed this entire era. They definitely had faith that Applause would do well, and it did. Now even if there aren't any more major hits off of the album, we can at least stay at rest knowing that Applause was most definitely a hit song.
