What I do care about, though, is DWUW increasing. 6 dark green updates in a row, 8 green updates in a row, up to #23 and still getting 1+ million AI updates without an add date. Also people forget all of these songs are hers and she loves them equally. The idea of her being angry over a song being picked over another is exaggerated. Btw, Venus already plunging in Japan/australia/Germany/etc... DWUW had a lot of pre order push but stuck much better.... I'm not sure, actually. I would assume not - it doesn't seem like Capaytol is pulling Roar, stations are just dropping it to play Unapologetic instead. I'd assume the same would happen with Applause/DWUW. Now that the Venus high has gone away, listening to Venus and DWUW back to back, I can't choose a favorite. Both are extremely strong songs. But DWUW is the clear single. I'm glad Gaga/Interscope changed their minds. Venus would have been a more nerve-wracking era than Applause. That being said, Do What U Want, seems like it would make an even better single chart-wise. It definitely has crossover appeal, which Venus lacks. Additionally, Do What U Want is more the type of song that shifts albums than Venus is - Do What U Want would carry the album better than Venus.
