GerMonsterNotta 824
Ok so we are counting down era by era …. taking a moment, what are Gaga / her team’s thinking on delivering the LG7 announcement in this way to the world.. 1) 7 (LG1,2,3,4,5,6,6.5,7..) eras -> roughly ~7 days - works well for a countdown… plus reminds world of legacy 2) a cute nostalgic way for fans to reminiscence on each era as we wait for LG7 or something a little deeper: 3) Gaga is in a place in her life now where she is ready to reflect on the journey as a whole… through all the pain, she’s now ready to accept who lady gaga is and has become across the full era, through the highs and lows. LG7 theme about embracing all these identities? 4) LG7 complete some kind of journey…. 5) Are we headed for a greatest hits or eras tour / residency kind of era … Edited 2 hours ago by GerMonsterNotta
Bronco 7,090
I feel like LG7 will be primarily a reflection on fame (not The Fame). It feels like a continuation of the Museum of Brutality theme of TCB. Bad Romance starting with Gaga in a "cage" and the show ending with the monster claw outfit which then got used for the first LG7 tease. I just get the sense she's ready to do a reflective album on her career path as we've seen with some of the Happy Mistake lyrics & Disease. Which then naturally leads to a tour that is also heavily focused on her career as a whole even if its not a traditional greatest hits tour.

nATAH 43,727
honestly, she has so many hits now, her setlists are going to be quite greatest hits-ish even CBT was missing plastic doll, SFA and love me right mother, what must i do?
PartySick 147,272
Does anyone remember if it was Joanne or Chromatica that she called "the end of the beginning of her career"? If it was Chromatica, then LG7 is the first album that's coming from what she considers to be the main chunk of her career. Her first "mature" album, if that makes sense.
salty like sodium 1,074
I'm still not ok with her labelling an EP as an entire album. TFM was literally an extension of The Fame... Should be LG 1.5.

That's, what, 15-20 minutes of a 2 hour show? If that?

Chromatica, but she meant it more like she let go of old fears and concerns and she's ready to embrace her art again with a lighter mindset Edited 2 hours ago by TimotheeChalamet

It's too long, it has too many tracks, and she and her label both recognize it as a standalone album regardless of the rerelease of The Fame.

Honestly I don't wanna see a repeat of TCB where the first 15 minutes almost are just ten+ year old songs and LoveGame, while a bop, really didn't need to be full and even extended She was right to finally cut Paparazzi and Alejandro though. If she wanted to be real brave I'd say cut Bad Romance to the length it was for Coachella, cut Just Dance and Poker Face to their artRAVE lengths (get both songs out of the way in just under 5 minutes), axe Telephone entirely, cut Ariana's part from Rain on Me, cut Bradley's verse from Shallow, and leave Born This Way as the only hit that remains full length. DWAS is a new song so it'll be in full for the LG7 Ball but afterwards she can cut Bruno's part and maybe find a way to do a medley with Shallow. I would agree but it's one of her biggest hits so she won't without Bradley's verse it's just over two minutes of the show so it's not so bad. Unless she does that "hey, play the guitar melody for five minutes while I slowly walk to the piano and stare at the crowd" thing again
