The vocal style, the production, the vibe of the song. I understand what Gaga wanted to do with this. It's ARTPOP to me. Art on pop but it could have been a smash if the aesthetic of the song was different. For example, the chorus is just a killer chorus, and the post-chorus is just insane, but the way the vocals are arrange to look more alien like, out of this world, with the retro/futuristic beat make it really strange, but not in a bad way. BUT I don't mean that it would have been better this way. I actually love the fact that Gaga went all the way crazy with this song and this is was she's known for. It could turn to a Bad Romance, because at first people had the same impression with Bad Romance because it was the first time she went crazy with a hit. But I think this song should stay a fan favorite and DWUW should be sent to sell album. Do you agree ? Do you understand my point of view ? Venus is a hit transformed to be an experimental song.
