Its fate will live and die by radio, and the transition from Applause to DWUW isn't going to be instantaneous. The fact that KIIS is so receptive is actually a really good sign for it. No surprise that a more hip hop than dance pop station would prefer DWUW. The jury is still out on Europe. Then there are Hot AC stations (like one of my faves) that only would play ET without the Kanye rap and generally avoid rap. Which is partly WHY it's one of my faves. They're already giving it the same number of spins they were giving Applause, lol. We're probably going to see the opposite for DWUW - KIIS stanning and Z100 hesitant. But unlike Interscope, they had time to see if DH was sticking. DWUW, on the other hand, has not been sticking. 2 days aint enough to make such rash decisions. It needs to pass Bad Romance. The longer this era lasts, the better. What would be even better is if DWUW steadily rises throughout the holidays and then blows up in January.
