Necca 166
Some people just don't understand - Venus TOO won't be available to chart because it will be released with ARTPOP pre-order just like DWUW was. So it's not problem with DWUW - it would be completely the same if she released Venus.
craig 680
How did Interscope not know this would happen? They ARE the music industry don't they know the rules? Polydor UK was told DWUW it was just a promo single, As for Interscope ... since when do Americans pay careful attention to the world outside their boundaries? 100percent 10
Some people just don't understand - Venus TOO won't be available to chart because it will be released with ARTPOP pre-order just like DWUW was. So it's not problem with DWUW - it would be completely the same if she released Venus. NO DWUW would have taught interscope a lesson and allow Venus to chart smoothly If interscope have waited for a couple more days to change their mind, they would have informed about the fact that pre-order single cannot chart If Venus is still the second single and they realize the fact that DWUW cannot chart because of the pre-order interscope must remove the pre-order immediately BUT NOW? DWUW was rushed to be the second single Interscope knows nth DWUW cannot chart and FLOP #RIPDWUW #Justice4Venus
Jase 13,315
Whatever she releases between now and Nov 11 won't be able to chart unless it's a stand-alone single I'm sure her team are now more than aware of this fact, so if nothing is done, and DWUW/Venus remain as promo singles...then, well, eek. THAT would literally be them not doing their job properly.
100percent 10
Good job so it means nth now to choose DWUW or Venus to be the second single coz it makes NO difference

Magic 0
Venus would have been eligible! ONE pre-order song is eligible to chart from an album becfore released as long as the terms are settled beforehand. DWUW isn't because it was initially released as a promo single then changed to official single, in terms of UK charts this change is ineffective because the OfficialCharts do not acknowledge the change BUT Venus would have been prepped as the official single beforehand and so eligible, despite it's availability on the pre-order.
