I'd rather have all three released as promo singles initially, and whichever got the biggest reception would eventually become the 2nd single afterwards. Just a thought. I don't get why people are overreacting to dwuw. It still hasn't left the top 5 on iTunes. After Applause, people should have learned that the era will be full of songs that grow but remain stable in sales. Jeff said that labels do last minute changes all the time and the only slip up in this was Gaga announcing the single. if it was never announced, nobody would know the single was "changed". True, but the last time she hit the top of both the HOT 100 chart and the Pop Songs chart, the home chart where she used to dominate, was with BTW back in early 2011. And the last time she topped the UK chart was back in 2010 with Telephone. It's been a long time, and I'd really LOVE for her to hit at least one #1 with this era.
