colours 128
TEOG did the best... Â Â only Gaga fans cared about The Edge of Glory, people who aren't Gaga fans only really took notice of her during Poker Face, Bad Romance and Born This Way, and Born This way was only because of the hype Gaga created for it. SummerGirl21 787
I recall the critics loved You & I and weren't fond of Scheisse either. People like to hate You & I, but it's one of the best songs she has written. So the critics were right about that.

MelbHawker 6,583
On the bright side. -DWYU isn't even getting airplay nor much promo and it's slaying.  -Do you all realize how much it is going to slay once it hits the radio? Yes but think pre-orders. It went #1 because technically it had been bought as many times as people had pre-ordered the album anyway. It's just not a wise decision to make this a single because of it's charting. Interscope knew it would hit #1 based on pre-orders.  I'm just not here for decisions made in haste. Like.. now she needs to rush a video and it's going to be of lower quality than what it would be if it was planned. Performing the song live without R. Kelly is going to be rather awkward considering he actually sings alone for quite a bit of time.  Interscope just confuses me.
Ladle Ghoulash 17,146
I recall the critics loved You & I and weren't fond of Scheisse either. superman 32
i think its for the best.you cant hold the number one on itunes world wide for more than a day infront of new releases and royals-roar that have been selling unstoppable until now.she should perform the song and if there is one artist that can make a great performance on the spot its gaga!plus she needs a more normal video for once and bam the GP is behind her.plus the beats commercial!im ean the edge of glory ended up being one of her biggest hits.why not do what you want that is indeed the second song released.plus none has hear venus what is the fuss about it? Ladle Ghoulash 17,146
I'm okay with this as long as Venus won't be put out on Sunday. The risk of having Venus being a bigger smash than DWUW is too high. If this is true, I hope the label puts out a different song (specifically ARTPOP/MANiCURE) as the first promo single, then followed by Dope as the second promo single. The reason why they're doing this is to prevent any particular song from overshadowing another. You're safe, sis. Letâs just say đŁïž Iâm CREAMING đ„ in my CORN đœ
shaneybaby 450
It still amazes me that you're meltdowning so hard, when the song is #1 everywhere, and you haven't even heard "Venus" . I bet her label care more about sales and money than you do, and they also know better. I feel like this was a good move tbh. its bc she hyped the **** out of venus with all the lyric pics and saying she loved Venus something terrible when asked about her fav track. i was excited for it but as long as it is still a promo single in a couple days ill b happy

Poker 3,679
Don't they know that ANY song released from the album would have been no. 1 due to preorders?  RELEASE VENUS AS PLANED AND STOP THIS MESS RN.    Fight for little Venus Gaga, fight for it Kindness rules all.
