The only thing I complais is Venus being released, I think it can be confusing. She should stop the promo singles releases now, in my opinion. But well, I'm not an expert so lets see how it works :) I'm happy with the success of DWUW and I hope it gets bigger. They should do a lyric video now (a decent one)! (Y'all better hope it does, otherwise it'll get messy.) Well.. of course we all will. Still doesn't excuse this absolutely terrible, last minute decision-making by Interscope. They've f*cked Gaga over. Now she has to re-schedule everything, regardless of what her tweets may convey. And she still has to go ahead with releasing promo singles.. that will most likely be received in exactly the same way as DWUW has. There will be confusion. I'm pissed off honestly. I love her to death but i'm pissed off. I liked DWUW but while it is a good song, to me it was just an appetizer while we waited for the meal proper. The experience has soured over the song for me, i hope that changes, but it is how i feel right now. I feel like Lady Gaga turned her back on her fanbase. What happened? I thought she didn't care about chart performance. Even if this is interscropes doing its ****ed up. EDIT: With the impressive sales and now the radio play it is bound to get it will definitely make it into the top ten. Do you think Applause will hold and we could get two top ten songs at once? There are a hundred and one other popstars churning that kind of basic garbage out. That's the very reason why Lady Gaga is so appealing in the first place - because she has some real artistic substance, in drastic contrast to so many others. My guess is this song makes no exception. So, waiting for Venus to be unleashed :whip: The way she described and hyped it, I bet it will be great, it better hit radios at some point too. Interscope could have easily told her to leave the art **** out of it. The songs and the concepts for them are avant-garde. You're telling me having a title of a song "Mary Jane holland" isn't risky? Having a collaboration with two rappers whose time have passed awhile ago? Choosing a single with someone who was in the news for being a pedophile awhile back? Collaborating with performance artists? Give me a break. Stop critiquing everything she does. Look at katy Perry's most recent album, just basic pop songs with no unique beats.
