It's one of her most clever, sonically pleasant, and lyrically brilliant songs yet. What do you define as "the Gaga touch?" MTN? Judas? YAI? Yeah because those songs did so well for her career... DWUW brings back vibes of double meaning from the TF with polished production like TFM.. What the GP fell in love with Gaga for. I'm sorry if BTW is "classic Gaga" now I would seriously be disturbed. It's her best shot at getting an official UK number 1 over here but how do you know she's still performing Venus. If the second single is now DWUW then surely she is performing that? I don't understand why by releasing it she is suddenly "not caring about the music." because it's not what she intended, it's not what was intended, it's not what i was hyped for and on top of that she came off tweeting "Oh yeah DWUW single so excited" like b---h stfu. I'm pissed off honestly. I love her to death but i'm pissed off. I liked DWUW but while it is a good song, to me it was just an appetizer while we waited for the meal proper. DWUW is a more R&B-ish vibe and Venus seems more pop with the description she has provided. She can go for the Beatles' achievement of owning the Top 5 with 5 of their singles :ghostlegend: It would be amazing to have two singles in the Top 10. And also the YouTube Awards performance, and the Muppets special has been already recorded, what if she didn't perform DWUW there? What a flop that would be. I have nothing against DWUW, great song and all. But Interscope can't change a single release 5 days before just like that, I mean all the promo Gaga has been planning for Venus? The whole mythological theme? What happens with that? Honestly, I think Gagz should drop Interscope and find another label. First the whole Judas-TEOG mess, then all the Aura/Burqa leaks, then the Applause early release, Latey Gaga comes in when releasing the track list, and now this? Come on dude. This Era could have been so very well structured: -First, a progressive comeback with Applause (she should have had it released for early July-mid June, and she should have stuck to the whole painted face-black outfit fashion (which was awesome btw). The Seashell theme and Venus wig should have not appeared until Venus was released in late September maybe? -The official debut for Venus should have been in the closing of the iTunes Festival, where she could have sported the amazing SeashellGa look (for once se did something right) and during the whole Venus era she could have worn the Seashell Botticelli Punk outfits. -And just before ARTPOP's released she could have featured DWUW as the official 3rd single, as well as very good promo/hype for the album, while debuting the blond bangy wig she wears in the cover of both DWUW and ARTPOP and while filming the Muppets special THIS OMG IM CRYING :( Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
