I love songs like Scheiße and Aura, but the GP buys songs that are more mainstream like You and I or DWUW... that's sad because when I tell someone I'm a little monster everyone thinks of the singles Gaga released, but they never see her the way I do because they don't buy the album. They will never know the tracks that make her music stand out for me compared to other artists. And assuming anything would be problematic. People complaining solely about Interscope are undermining the fact that Gaga has some autonomy. She could leak the entire album if she wanted. She could, but overall what would be her gain from that? When something goes bad, it'll be pretty stupid to damage it further rather than salvaging it. And we have sources that have told us Applause being the first single was mostly Interscope's idea, so idk why the fact that they could have a lot of control is so hard to believe. DWYW is just lacking and bleh. I've listened a good few times now and it just hasn't improved. Thisss *constantly listening trying to get into the song* .... Nope, aint happening. They love the song. Gaga needs her fans but she also needs the GP appeal, to make her career last long. DWUW is universal. Radios should eat this up. :) They don't go on the internet to talk about music. They hear it on the radio and buy it, so till now they haven't even heard of this song at all. I wanted to hear Venus too but I love dwuw. And gaga can do what she wants with the singles. I was joking around, this thread is too much. I'm looking forward to hearing Venus in a few days, I hope it's a great song but maybe it won't be as good as DWUW and so we could have dodged a bullet, or maybe this was a bad move that could slow Venus' epic rise.
