Gaga only ahs so much control, and I wish people realized that, It is practically the same... More views and appreciation = more sales and vice versa... Interscope is the one investing money on gaga's music, and they decide how to release it, exactly what happened with born this way, and everything she does. Gaga may have ideas on how to release her music, but if they don't approve it she has to bite her tongue, deal with it and move on. DWUW is huge and it's only been out for a day -- so it isn't wise to release the "official" second single a few days later. It would probably get lost in all the hype and excitement for DWUW. I doubt they were expecting a promo single to shoot to #1 in all those countries with absolutely zero promo (minus those tweets, but that's not anything official). So you gotta roll with it.
