If we didn't get 7 songs at SwineFest, I would have definitely listened to Gypsy. It's just too much & I want a fresh experience when I hear the album. As for Venus, there's still a possibility that it will be the 2nd single considering that DWUW is not making impact until 10/29 rather than the day it came out & charted. I'm okay with short snippets as well. I'm looking forward to it after hearing all of your responses I hope you enjoy it, and it does to you what it does to me!! Kids especially will love the silliness of the chorus and be asking their parents to turn it up. It has amazing potential for a single, but if she's releasing it as a promo (and possibly performing it on X Factor) then there's not really much point other than to put out a video. BigDreamer 79 Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Im totally here for the music and everything that ARTPOP has to offer thus far and the snippet has me really excited to hear venus. It makes me kind of wish gaga hadnt jumped the gun and thrown a gear in the Single rotation. The Edge of Glory was released because Judas was not as strong they had hoped but with not even hearing venus, it still has extremely strong potential to be a hit. What happens if Venus sells even better than DWUW and is extremely well recieved by fans and GP alike? Is she going to change her mind yet again? Probably not.
