Anomaly 134
Guys, they're entitled to their opinion. It was THEIR song to begin with. Imagine you had created something that you loved, and some big pop star that creates music you aren't interested in comes along and says "I want it." It's like your baby, you don't want to give it up, but saying "No" to someone like Gaga isn't easy, and like they said, would end up costing them a lot of money they could have made. Just because they're not into Gaga's music and don't like what they did to their song (don't forget, it's THEIR song, they're going to have high expectations of it) doesn't mean they are being rude or disrespectful to Gaga in any way. Did everyone miss the part where they said that they're honored that someone in Gaga's league found potential in their tracks? Pop music isn't their thing, so what is with all the hate? In my opinion, you're all being 10x ruder than they are.
Didymus 34,379
Obviously she doesn't write her instrumentals, but she did claim 500x that she's involved in every step of the process, producing every track, which would now of course not be true. And sampling is equally lazy, so whether it's done in music or not, that's besides the question for me, personally ;) Gaga doesn't write her instrumentals, she writes her melodies. And to my initial disappointment, she didn't even use most of the original instrumental. She sampled parts of it for the verses. You know sampling, right? That thing that is often done to make contemporary pop songs?

Knife 6,686
Look at the negative response "Aura" got on the Infected Mushroom Forums after the demo leaked. I'm not at all surprised to see that the band is trying to spin this around after their fans responded so negatively.
Juanjo 1,970
I am shocked! How ungrateful! They are absolutely entitled to their opinions, but to express themselves like that about someone and something that will bring a huge chunk of bread to their table is absolutely ridiculous. What's the validity of this interview? I just can't believe it!
HausOfDaniel 0
That was rude, and they're contradicting themselves by saying 'we see ourselves as a band with a high artistic integrity and we avoid commercialization and doing cheap things such as Britney or Gaga.' because as you all can see they're caring most about the money than the art they claim. SEX MUFFIN 63
Because people need to eat. I'm pretty sure that if these guys can afford to make music and play for a crowd, they can afford food and not have to bash Gaga's image and musical choices
