Swine 504 Posted October 3, 2013 Author Share Posted October 3, 2013 0k well then what do you want her to do??? if its hasnt gotten better for you, please, tell us how she can become better. see, this is the problem. those who complain about her work losing its substance, no one has a solution, they just want to ****ing complain. if she hires someone to write her videos fro her, we complain that shes become an industry puppet. she takes things into her own hands, then shes unprofessional. if she writes music for us, oh no, dont do that! because gaga needs to "slay" but if she caters music to the lamestream, then she isnt seen as artistic and as different as shes pegged to be. do this, dont do that, dont do that, do this! ugh shes so egocentric.... I do have the solution: SHE CAN HIRE SOME PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORS AND CREATIVE DIRECTORS. She needs someone to help her translate her ideas in the right way. That's all. She's her own worst enemy at times like most real artists. Also I love the Applause video so ill have to disagree with you on that... You aren't talking about her WORK, you're talking about her CHARACTER and creative process. About who she should and should not hire to do videos. And your saying she shouldn't trust her own vision. And she said this because she knew she was taking a risk with a song like BR at the time of its release. But she didn't care if she flopped and released it anyways. Also, if she thinks her work is perfect, than what is wrong about that? Is like if you make your own artwork, and you think is perfect, but many other people don't like it. Does that mean you should not be proud of your own work? Or that is no longer perfect for you just because other people don't think it is? That is the problem: it hasn't. And I feel like it had the potential to be better, but she wants to prove so much that she's not basic that she flops, because she doesn't know how to make things right on her own. I am not over protective of her, I actually HATE that stupid dark Born This Way era, but that's basically the reason people lost interest of Gaga, not because she's egotistic and full of herself, which she is not , IMO of course. I feel like she is surrounded by Yes-men and yes-women and YAS-fans that she doesn't seem to have anyone saying "Gaga, this is convoluted. This doesn't sound that good. This doesn't make sense." I honestly think that she needs someone negative on her team to keep the reality portion of the fantasy/reality thing she harps about. Do I hate her? no. But I feel she is not hitting her best work internally cause the internal people can't critique her. Look at Steven Klein.
