Ok get your priorities straight. When you let sales get ahead of wanting to hear material from your favorite act :rip:

It's quite sad when your chart obsession goes above and beyond the want to hear a new single from your favorite artist...it's honestly quite pathetic actually.

Omg guys calm down!  :cryga: You all honestly can't also wait two ****ing days for a song to come out. You already waited 2 years for one. Do you honestly want a Judas sized mess on our hands with a Friday release. What's going to happen, as indicated by the fact that you all can't even wait for her single for two extra days, Venus is going to open with massive sales for 3 days and rather than those sales being accounted for a whole week, it will debut low on the hot 100 (i'm guessing in the 15 to 20 range at best because of the lack of streaming) and then if things go wrong it won't have that stable peak to back it up, and eventually slips into oblivion. Worst case scenario obviously. But it's best to avoid that mess and not let history repeat itself.

Judas was a mess because the song was murdered by radio lol. Radio programmers literally took a hatchet to that song and never let up for weeks

Can this thread take a moment to appreciate the fact we're about to match BTW's Top 10 streak and Applause will still be over 110M AI when Katy's follow up to Roar comes out?

We've come far from the days of August. :rip:

Tbh I havent requested the song in ages. :smh: I turned the towel in when it hit around 80 ai tbh (I was a beast though, I requested everyday since it was in its 40s). But I never even thought it was gonna get that high, then 90 came, and then 100 and now almost 120 ai thats cray. I know thats a small number to Katy who can record herself crapping and remix it and get airplay, but Gaga has abysmal airplay. I hope Applause starts the trend of radio embracing her music again. If we ever get a single past 150 that'd be heaven. :flutter:

It's called patience :awkney: We're all going to hear it anyway, so what's the hurting in waiting a couple days?

Anyways, it's not happening how some of us want it to be and that's how it's going to be. I just expect some of the people in this forum to not complain if the song doesn't chart well as a result.

Yeah, I don't give a **** about its sales at this point. The amount of airplay its gotten and the warm reception by the GP is more than enough to call it a hit. It did its job.

I agree. **** all the haters that dragged Applause. That **** still slays everyone's ears whether they like it or not. And very fitting the Kia commercial just came on in the middle of the MLB postgame. Give me the thing that I love!!!! :music:

Wow the Passenger song is looking like it will be a huge hit. Just listened and the guy's voice is really f**king annoying :wtf: I can already tell I will cringe when that song is being overplayed on radio.
