If there is NOTHING Gaga related on the list after that tease they had in their Top vids last week, someone is getting scalped Her hype this era is just so incoherent too. One minute Aura is on VEVO, next she announces Venus, but then for some reason shes tweeting Donatella lyrics. Itd be nice if her label just focused on Applause promo for a few weeks, then had a focused effort on a promo single, then a focused effort on the second single. That's what all of us stans like to see. Better to appreciate Gaga's successes and strength, than always being dissastisfied with her because her singles don't sell as much as Katy and Rihanna. And the whole "she's fat, but she's talented" thing definitely played in her favor with the GP. 21 was also one of the most relatable albums... ever. It was about heartbreak in its purest form... no gender, race, or other premise involved. And I feel you. We're all here because we want to see Gaga somehow skyrocket to the top again. That won't happen unless she releases a song that plays all of its cards right and Applause was definitely not that song. I knew it the moment I heard the leaked snippets. Its longevity is like a plus to me now. Agreed. Adele had a lot going for her during 2011. The GP just flat-out liked her. GaGa won't reach that success again unless she releases a song that is slightly risky and really gains the attention of the public.
