nick4bty 2,758
I think the 27th/28th is a good date to release Venus. I'm assuming Applause will be done growing by then, but if it's still getting positive updates at that point I'm going to be slightly disappointed that they're essentially killing it. I just want Gaga's singles to reach their full potential, because right now it's hard to tell how high Applause can go.
AURA 2,890
I'd love if Applause's radio success would be reflected in its sales too
Americano 31,061
It's about to peak, that's why she announced it. You can tell by its gradually decreasing "bullet" on pop formatted stations I'd love if Applause's radio success would be reflected in its sales too Well, its sales aren't lagging TEOG's by much if you compare the timeline of how they stacked up. Also, it's passed songs like Safe&Sound and SummertimeSadness in sales which had comparable airplay (if not slightly more)
A Stan Was Born 670
I wonder it the foil idea will help to increase sales... I assume there will not be a special edition for this album?
Americano 31,061
As long as Applause can hang in the Top 10 until Monday I'm happy, since with Z100 keeping it in PR, that'd secure its 9th week in the Top 10 (which was the biggest goal I had for the song/I didnt think itd actually make it there)
Bt1 5,213
The views for Aura had a big jump, but now is really slowing down. Maybe the movie will help it. Do you think it can enter Billboard 100?

Dangerous Man 9,245
Omg, the intro of Maybe You're Right always gets me. The chorus sounds like a hit. Next single please Miley and you'll get another top 10 hit. :legend: "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

If you adjust the audience impression for inflation it's really an Alejandro/Telephone/TEOG sized radio hit, not a Bad Romance/Poker Face/Just Dance, and thats why its sales are running along those "smaller hits" vs. a megahit like BR. Basically this is a typical Gaga hit. It's not a huge unstoppable smash, but one of her more standard pop hits.

nick4bty 2,758
To bad. I really wanted that. My theory is Billboard pays no attention to streaming for songs that aren't making much of an impact, or have no sales or radio airplay. So even if it did have enough streaming points to chart, I doubt it would.
Dangerous Man 9,245
Remember guys that Gaga is more an album seller than singles. So Applause's sales is great for her standards. :legend: "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
