I just see the number for last weeks sales (109K) is equal to the Mediabase AI (109m); once that ratio becomes =1 it suggests the song is starting to struggle to sell despite the airplay. It's still growing, and killing it ahead of time would only shorten the entire ARTPOP era. There's no reason to release a second single until Applause has completely stalled or starts declining. Everyone, keep requesting You are wrong. I mean if 2nd single will be released now and Applaus is stil there it will FLOP on radio . Promo single looks like the best route to go down to keep her presence strong on iTunes. A new single right now would ruin everything on radio. It should still come towards the end of the month. She really needs to perform it somewhere those. Sales are lagging bigtime. Can't she just go on one of the talkshows and perform? Fallon and Kimmel usually do good things for their performers, and Fallon has sung Applause (jokingly) and referenced it numerous times on his show. I really wish she would do a talk show performance, I've been saying this for ages now. That way she will have tackled the morning/daytime TV audience (GMA), the primetime/pop music fan audience (VMAs), and the late night TV audience.
