As long as ARTPOP sells better in the long run... I'm kinda getting a bad feeling. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong. Album sales are super important. Katy is already a singles artist and radio artist, if she becomes an album artist I'll have a meltdown. I NEED ARTPOP to slay, doesn't matter if the singles flop.

If that happens, the only thing we can cling on is touring. :derpga:

So is heartbreaker still selling less than applause was back then?

Well - erm - not quite.  Heartbreaker is going to go a lot higher yet.  Applause sold almost 100K on its first day.  Heartbreaker has sold around 75K already with most of the day still to go.

Definitely. Anybody over the age of 18-21 would be more of an album buyer I'd suggest, as they would have grown up during the 'album' age.

That is until she's no longer the touring force she used to be. Then we'd have nothing...

floponsters, beliebers have trashed you in loyalty. Hopefully, Heartbreaker will peak soon and plummet into oblivion.

from an atrl user:

"To be more precise Nielsen BDS don' t use rolling

chart , but cumulative chat ( like sales chart ).

What mean every Wednesday AI is reset and

started counted from 0 again. So only once a

week they have Airplay for all past 7 days ."

Is this true?

I believe that the success of Heartbreaker is because it's the first song.. But he is going to put out one song PER WEEK so don't expect those songs to go well like the first one, that is for sure...

Is this true?

yes. Nielson starts counting from zero each week

it doesn't make much difference though

on nielson, if a song get 70m for last week, and this week (full) get 80m - then final will be 80m

on mediabase, if a song get 70m last week, this week 80m, movement will be 20m, but final will still be 80m
