Griffin 6
Teens are just more fond of buying songs from itunes than adult I guess. Adults are more on on albums. Definitely. Anybody over the age of 18-21 would be more of an album buyer I'd suggest, as they would have grown up during the 'album' age.

If it sells less than Prism... people keep saying BTW scared off the GP. Yet they were still for her during TEOG and YUYI (in US). Where have they gone now? Gerrard174 699
That Justin Bieber song should be another Berzerk. Poses a threat and then drops and ends up like Berzerk. Applause can overcome it i think so. radio usually doesn't embrace bieber song. so the song should fall after the hype of his fans gone
Paper Gangsta 6,693
I just went to look at the numbers; Royals is selling approx 50K/day now (so 350K/week). On the day Applause was released, Roar sold 91K, so 82% higher. So is heartbreaker still selling less than applause was back then?

That's where the money is and where it is shown that people are here for her entire musical projects not bits and pieces.

Applause can overcome it I don't think so. Berzerk managed to maintain longevity even without radio support, Heartbreaker will fall like a rock... Yet they were still for her during TEOG and YUYI (in US). Where have they gone now? Uhmmm i believe Katy can pull a large opening sales this time. Her audience arent just teens but also adults. I think it is safe to say she has the widest range of audience among her other female contemporaries. She is even top 10 in Rhytmic. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body." Foivos 64
Inbefore PRISM debuts with less than 200k Yes, because the announcement is streamed only in 190 stations all over US and on Tv .... I guess 500k+
Bye 3,947
Inbefore PRISM debuts with less than 200k inb4 Prism debuts with 199k and ARTPOP with 170k. The meltdowns would be astronomical.

I'm kinda getting a bad feeling. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong. Album sales are super important. Katy is already a singles artist and radio artist, if she becomes an album artist I'll have a meltdown. I NEED ARTPOP to slay, doesn't matter if the singles flop.
