Americano 31,061
it only gets played at ghey clubs and all the gheys already bought it. Applause has crossed over to straight clubs. This it very true. I went to a few straight clubs this weekend and BOTH played Applause, NEITHER played Work Bitch. That makes a huge difference. Britney focused too much on a niche market with this single
Arturo 40,746
Talking about highest opening sales for the year... I know Gaga can't outdo JT or Drake but I hope she can outdo Katy's first week and not only have the 3rd highest debut this year but the highest female debut
Gerrard174 697
We have done all we have as a fan base. You hit it on the head; it is up to the stations themselves to keep those play coming. I still don't see why some radio stations boycott the song when it is obviously doing extremely well and is enjoyed by the majority.[/quote we should start requesting to small stations tbh at this point dont even care about z100 and KIIS since they will not increase AI anymore

nick4bty 2,758
Yeah I don't understand the radio obsession over SS. At best it's a ****ty remix of a ****ty song. imo of course. lol. Applause deserves those spins way more. At least it'll pass S&S either today or tomorrow on pop. I can't see it going any higher than that though. The songs above it are just too strong. I know Gaga can't outdo JT or Drake but I hope she can outdo Katy's first week and not only have the 3rd highest debut this year but the highest female debut Prism is her only competition. We'll know in two weeks if it's possible. Are sales usually slower in October or November?
pie-kun 1,765
At least WorB will hit #1 on Dance/Club Chart. or no? Even Madonna, Kylie and Cher's non-charting singles hit #1 on that chart, so I imagine so. If you're a gay icon, anything you release can hit #1 there.
