Only monster hits manage to sustain such a huge longevity WW, the iTunes charts in Europe are frontloaded and in many countries they are also meaningless. The song is not a huge hit WW but its not a flop. It is at the same level with TEOG WW. TeoG was incredibly successful WW though. Applause isn't. It's still Top 10 in the U.S and it just reentered the Top 10 in Canada as Dark Horse fell. It's still Top 10 in Spain. It spent 5 weeks in the Top 10 in the U.K. It sold well with physical copies in Japan. It was top 10 in Italy until recently. etc etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Applause isn't.No TEOG was very successful in some countries and it completely underperformed in some others. For example Judas was more successful in Balkan countries than TEOG. Applause did pretty well in US, Canada, France, Russia, Sweden, Balkan Countries, Spain, Italy, Belgium Japan etc and it underperformed in UK, Oceania, Brazil and some other European countries.
