Griffin 6
Applause has also sold a third of what BTW sold by this point. BTW sold 3 million 6 weeks into it's release? I understand that Born This Way hit #1 so naturally it would fade faster as more people downloaded it sooner, but this shows that whilst Applause didn't peak high (by high standards) it didn't fall typically as a song would. Find it hard to believe that BTW had such overwhelming radio support in week 7 and 8 that it could be #4 and #5 on Hot 100 while being 10 on itunes. Unless it slipped below a batch of Glee songs for a day. http://www.itunescharts.net/us/charts/songs/2011/04/01 Take it up with them.
craig 680
http://www.itunescharts.net/us/charts/songs/2011/04/01 Take it up with them. Actually #9 with 2 version of ET slaying. Couple of new releases just above her. Applause had ridiculous competition at the start, things got competitive just as BTW was weakening.
