Having 10 pretty much guaranteed top 40 entries and perhaps a few top 10s in the span of a few months will be great things to add to his resume, especially since he's increasingly being seen as having been overtaken by 1D along with the fact that his public perceptions falls to new lows every week. That probably is their reasoning. lol. I really can't stand Bieber, so I'm hoping this all fails miserably for him. If Miley album songs can stay away from the Top 10, it's possible. But even if they don't, Applause could leave temporarily and then return when the Miley songs drop and still beat TEOG. I'm still debating whether or not their tactic is wise or not. Because if you release ten songs before an album is out, then that means there'll be maybe 2 or 3 songs that you don't own or haven't heard [assuming that the standard version of his album is 12-13 songs] so when the album is out, you might as well just spend the extra 3 or 4 dollars buying the other 2 or 3 songs that you don't have, therefore, somewhat forcing the consumer to buy the whole album using the Complete My Album feature on iTunes. We'll see what it does for his first week sales. I must say it will be REALLY interesting to watch. If people see that this works in boosting album sales on the first week, we might just be able to say that Bieber pioneered releasing one song a week before the release of your album. The hype leads to the next single (Team/Some Nights) to share in moderate success while imo being of better quality than it's former. Unfortunately though for Pure Heroine, while I like what it has to offer, I don't really see anything else from it that screams obvious single besides the two previously mentioned. I don't understand the logic behind this. Releasing 10 songs before an album release is just plain idiotic. This will crash & burn IF this is their real tactic Ehh, it got old fast for me.
