Gaga is known for saving better songs for later, so I'm pretty confident the second one will be less of a grower and more a song people will like right away :) Roar seemed really generic to me .. and actually when I heard "I live for the Applause Applause Applause" snippet right after I listened to the whole Roar song I Was so sure that Applause will smash It etc.. but I guess the pre chorus is the only Innovative part of Applause, the verses are great, not generic at all In fact they are weird, but the chorus and especially the Instrumental during It is kinda dated and all this makes the song Amazing but not Fresh, Outdated but not generic .. really weird ;d .. .and Roar is just generic .. It has the same beats, drums etc.. as so many songs that were radio hits the last year + the brave Instrumental And I want Sex Dreams as the 2nd single so much I really love this song and I also really believe In It .. It sounds like a smash to me .. The first time I heard It I did not really like It, the 2nd time I was like It's actually good and when I heard the snippet from the club (with the cleaner Instrumental) I got so slayed Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
