I hope it won't be available as a download from the album then but as a separate single. then it will lose the point of being a promo single. promo singles are released to boost album sales. With more promo singles, you ensure more people use complete my album feature and translate those promo singles sales into album sales. after all, they are just promo singles. It won't hurt to have more album sales instead of promo singles sales. The only ones being seriously impacted are Venus and Applause. but seems like BB only deducted CMA effect from digital songs sales, but still include them into Hot 100 calculation (from ATRL) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It happens to everybody. But BB still counts that sale in the Hot 100. Yes, but I mean it will be bad for iTunes. But as Klou said, album sales are more important it will not be bad for itunes. for albums that haven't been released (like ARTPOP), when you preorder the album or buy the promo singles, the sales will be reflected on itunes chart.
