Haus.Of.Latex. 0
Considering her standing in Netherlands since 2010, I can't tell if this is supposed to be good or bad i'm pretty sure that's good. ________________________ On a different note, will Gaga's radio interviews tomorrow possibly help in any with with spins for Venus starting next? As in, will her appearances almost guarantee that these stations will be playing Venus a considerable amount?
Gov Hooka 8,008
I am happy with Applause etc.. but I can't pretend like 1.5M isn't dissapointing to me ... The fact that I expected the single to be platinum after the 2nd week And also It's kinda sad that for Applause's entire chart run there were at least 5 songs that were more popular than It the whole time on both Hot 100 and Radio Songs ... And It's just kinda underwhelming for Lady Gaga... she was never actually overshadowed until with Applause and Roar etc.. But we survived the worst so now let's hope there won't be such meltdowns anymore ! Wrong, do you even remember 2011, the year of Adele. Talk about overshadowed... If Venus freefalls out of the Top 10 in the first week of iTunes, they wont play it just since she said hello We'll have to see. Wrong, do you even remember 2011, the year of Adele. Talk about overshadowed... I heard that Gaga girl released an album that year.. idk.. didnt hear much of it on the radio though so maybe not
Glow 0
Venus' chart performance will also depend if it's a hit or not. People always mention radio deals, but if the song is not catchy or memorable at all, it usually won't chart well.

They realized that Aura was a bad single choice and didn't release it, something smart done by Interscope

Glow 0
Interscope isn't that stupid. They realized that Aura was a bad single choice and didn't release it, something smart done by Interscope I'm not saying they are, but their choice to release more commercially "safe" music over the more experimental stuff, could bite them back one day. JD, PF, and BR were all considered experimental when they were released, and they're Gaga's biggest hits. Aura by no means is a JD or BR though, especially after the new version. They realized that Aura was a bad single choice and didn't release it, something smart done by Interscope Interscope has been RUINING her since 1824. She had to fight for Poker Face, she had to fight for Alejandro.. and judging by the fact Interscope has not retweeted ANYTHING about Venus, she fought for this too.
