Chart Postition =/= Big Sales or Success See Harlem Shake it was #1 on BB hot 100 for 5 weeks and Applause soon will outpeak it in sales. See JB's new releases topping iTunes something Applause couldn't do yet Applause had better oppening week. The examples are countless. The examples are countless. you both with Americano are contradicting yourselves tho, because We are not crying about Gaga's chart positions or at least me personally, I think the sales are dissapointing. I'd rather have a song being 30 weeks IN top 20 (never reach top 10) and sell 3-4M copies than a number 1 song like Hold It Against me for example ... I mean It is fresh only during the Pre Chorus, THe Chorus is really dated, and the verses are weird (In a good way) So that makes the song good.. but It isn't what I expected to here after I listened to the snippet ... Birthday is a better and updated version of LFN and It will slay .... I agree the pre-chorus it's the best part of the song, but I think it's one of her best singles. With songs like BR or BTW I just cringe everytime they start like there's something that just hits me in the nerve but Applause is so smooth and fun that I could care if all mu music gets erased and only Applause left Pretty much this!
