Anything is possible because we have not heard the song yet. But predicting such bad performance is pathetic

yeah

So, some people here started saying Venus is not radio friendly and will peak at 100m AI and sell less than 2m...

While THEY HAVE NOT HEARD EVEN THE SONG!!!!!

We know so much about Venus, we have the lyrics for the bridge, which seems like its going to be a massive breakdown. We know an artist it samples and it's very weird and futuristic.

Am I the only one who thinks Unconditionally is amazing? I hate Roar cause its so generic and basic. But c'mon guys you cant say Uncon. is 100% generic. Just the fact that its a ballad makes it kinda generic. Anyway, in my opinion its better than any single from TD !

With slow ballady songs from Lorde, Miley, and Drake all over radio, Unconditionally will fade into the pack.

While Venus will stand out.

Unc = generic ballad, generic lyrics.

Legendary Lovers is way better.

What is OBAMA

i dunno i think that most of katy's music follows such an structured plan of work just to make catchy tunes for the masses that it's hard to say when something is actually Good, for example, from TD the only song i actually thought it was diferent and very unique was ET, and from a lyrical point of view Firework and TD were also good, but the melodies were so dumb

when i heard WOA i knew she was going to do a lot of 80s/90s influence, and that's the tone of the album in general.

she knew she couldn't keep that Poppy LA sound she had in her first 2 albums, so she went for an older sound(but not with roar and a few others) because they knew that a 3rd time would be too much for a long era

If Unconditionally flops like Judas, I bet they'll jumped to Dark Horse quickly (or By The Grace of God) a la TEOG. :emma:

99% not going to happen tho.

:hor:

How is Unconditionally doing on Radio right now by the way?

That's what we thought about "Applause" as well.  :toofloppy:
