I've decided to stop doubting Applause after this weekend. I NEVER thought it would hit the top 10 again, much less top 9. She has followed Britney's footsteps in terms of pulling #1s, well at least post-Loud. It seems her chances to get atop the charts now depends on her lead singles - which isn't that bad. But you have to remember that that's a small market compared to the US, so relatively minor increases/decreases in album sales can cause the album to jump or fall very quickly, especially when you're talking about the albums outside of the top 100.
