That's pretty ****ty for a song that's had promo, has a viral video etc. I think it just doesn't have much commercial appeal once you get past the "comedy" aspect of the song/video. GS, and to a much lesser extent HS, had a lot more commercial appeal than The Fox does. The whole song is just ruined by the screeching in the chorus Ylvis has literally been on every talk show possible. As much as they want us to believe it, this isn't a "viral hit." lol. The whole thing that made Friday funny (and thus turning it into a viral song) was that it was not explicitly trying to be bad, it was a legitimate attempt at making a pop song for some teen girl that ended up being both annoyingly catchy and lyrically hilarious. But I guess when something like Friday comes along, you milk it for every cent you possibly can. I completely agree, after 3 flop singles from the albums now, Part 2 is just casting a huge shadow on the success of 20/20 Part 1. This is kind of why I'm nervous about the possibility of Gaga doing a Part 2 of ARTPOP. If she does, I hope she doesn't make the same mistake JT did in putting all the weaker songs on the 2nd album.
