So should I complete my album anyway? I'm buying a physical copy too.

Definitely. Album sales >>>

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" drops from #4 to #11. The song spent three weeks at #1, becoming Swift's first #1 pop hit. It holds at #1 on Hot Country Songs for the fourth straight week. P!nk's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" drops from #10 to #12. It peaked at #5.

"We Are Never Ever…" drops from #8 on last week's Hot Digital Songs chart completely off the chart this week. Its sales went from 112K last week to negative 83K this week. This negative tally reduced the song's release-to-date tally from 2,443,000 to 2,359,000. How can this be? Many fans took advantage of iTunes' "Complete Your Album" feature. When fans take advantage of that feature, they get a reduction on the price of the album, but the earlier song transaction is deducted from the song's tally.

I don't think the CMA effect will be as drastic as this on the second single though.

Guys, just asking, but what radio formats would the following songs be successful to? (for example Applause is only successful on Pop, and a bit on HAC):

Gypsy - ballad

Jewels and Drug - rap collab with a nice breakdown

MANiCURE - Relatable pop song with rock elements

Sex Dreams - Song about s-x with addictive lyrics and a crazy chorus

ARTPOP - A magical mid-tempo song with confusing lyrics but yet catchy and fresh.

Just asking, just say like Pop, Rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC for a song like Jewels N' Drugs, I'm mostly wondering about MANiCURE, ARTPOP and Sex Dreams.

You and I has a cross over appeal esp. for country and alternative radios. But it never happens coz Gaga entered the scene as a pop artist.

J&D can have a success in Rhytmic and Urban radios tho. Interscope just need to send it there.

in how many hours is Kett releasing her song.....I hope it's a bop. With exception of Roar, she's really serving this era.

The fact that earlier this month we were worrying if Applause would reach 50 million AI and now we are wondering if it will be her biggest radio hit yet :legend:

Thanks, and can you explain why Applause is flopping on AC?
