JudasIsAHolyFoo 3,278
I didnt find any flaws in it, some songs werent played fully, but the shortened ones, (Highway Unicorn,Judas, Fashion of His Love, Love Game, Telephone, Electric Chapel, Poker Face) were shortened so she could still sing all her singles, and basically all the songs from Born This Way, and she ended then all nicely, they didnt come to a hault and end badly. She also would go behind the scenes during some of the song to get ready for the next song as she wanted to be ready really quick, she wouldnt want to be in an arena for 4 hours preforming cause of all the pauses between the songs for costume changes. That would be exhausting! The born this way ball was done extremely well in my eyes, and its her best tour so far! Monster Ball 2010, Monster Ball 2011, Born This Way Ball 2013, artRAVE 2014, Joanne World Tour 2017 (Both Nights in Toronto)
Cats 22
I wasn't crazy impressed with the BTWB tbh But that being said, maybe I'm biased because it's not really my type of concert to begin with (way too theatrical/over the top, etc)... plus when I went I was feeling incredibly sick and exhausted and was forced to stand with a bunch of crazy stans in the monster pit SO, I actually spent most of my time at the BTWB wanting it to be over so I could go to bed lol! Also, I thought the whole monster pit/key thing in general was a huge mess!

HANZ 4,380
some parts were amazing like goverment hooker, marry the night, born this way, scheisse, heavy metal lover, the edge of glory, but others like judas, poker face and alejandro were messy and cheap My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

You would have had a lot more fun otherwise I feel like.
Cats 22
Yeah no you're definitely not allowed to judge based on the state of your health during that show . You would have had a lot more fun otherwise I feel like. I watched it afterwards too in a perfectly healthy state though. I would have had way more fun had I not been sick, I agree... but my opinion is still the same, it's just not style! Too theatrical and over the top and whatnot. Besides, if I had actually written my original post based on how I really felt during that show, I would have said it was completely awful/unbearable and I hated it... because I was basically that miserable the whole time haha. Concerts with a splitting headache when you feel like you're about to collapse are not very much fun at all. I was however, attempting to share my opinion after ignoring any misery I felt due to being sick! But you're right, I will never be able to remember the BTWB very fondly, as that entire trip will go down in history as one of the worst experiences of my life tbh lol. Sorry Gaga... adorno 484
I agree with you somehow, I think she was putting the energy in the wrong direction,if that makes any sense.. :dead:
SEANGT 4,963
it was innovative in a retro way. No giant video screens. Just the stage pieces, the dancers, lighting, and gaga. It was a theatrical masterpiece.
PrinceDieHigh 12
This makes me so sad. She cancelled some shows literally the day before I was supposed to see her and I thought to myself that it would just be postponed for a few weeks but then everything ended I a was devastated. I really hope the ARTPOP Ball start in NA and is a very tailored show!
TezaGaga 0
I hope she cuts out a lot of the old songs in favor of new material. yhyh same u probably weren't even there to begin with... MyQueen 2,409
If you compare it to MDNA tour it was a mess! 3/5 When can we expecte DVD?
HYPERCRUSH 42
To me, the BTW ball didn't flow as well as the others, but the BTW ball had more memorable moments for me personally. I never had the feeling that it was messy though, but definitely more surreal and conceptual
