Let's all remember that Gaga is an artist, not just an Interscope employee that has everything under control 100% of the time. Honestly, I'd rather have the tracklist a couple of days later than have something Gaga herself is not happy with. If something like a tardy track list causes you to lose support for her, then you're not a particularly valuable fan. And she's not going to rush anything to do with finalising the album in order to give screaming stans a tracklist. She'll reveal it when it's ready. Maybe something came up that she couldn't have forseen. Give her a break. She's working her ass off. She's a perfectionist. When it's ready, she'll drop it. I don't doubt she's working hard to finish it. I never said anything bout her work ethic. When you announce a date like that though, you're giving yourself a deadline. I think some fans might be assuming she knew it'd be delayed before she really did. She had put out that one tweet seemingly jokingly asking for an extension, so she may have known, but it's also entirely possible that she didn't know what would happen until the day of, and that maybe even after midnight she thought she'd be able to get it out very soon (and so tweeting about the delay wouldn't be worthwhile). At any rate, even if you weren't calling for an apology, too many fans were, and then others were approving of the apology afterward, as if she had stepped out of line and then come back to her senses or something. No one here knows why she delayed. No one knows when she knew she'd have to delay. And also: IT'S A ****ING TRACK LIST. THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT IS ABOUT TO SHUT DOWN. Where's the promo? Where's the hype for the new single? It's frustrating, Katy Perry is releasing a single in 2 weeks despite having 2 promo singles out, Prism is hanging somewhere on the iTunes Top 20. It's not like we assumed the date or made up some weird logic on why that would be the day, she straight-up told us. I'm glad she apologized.
