dy2light 28 Posted March 23, 2014 Author Share Posted March 23, 2014 UPDATE on Audio: As of sometime before or around the ARTPOP on Jimmy Fallon video, Vevo is now encoding the audio for new videos as 128kbps AAC instead of 192kbps. Also, with YouTube, I can no longer find a hidden "256kbps" stream. I can, however, still get 192kbps audio from YouTube. (this is all in AAC.) Because the difference in audio quality is actually noticeable, I will, from here on out, be muxing VEVO video with YouTube audio for any new videos, as a standard practice, unless there is some change that suggests that I should do otherwise. (Older videos such as Applause and anything before that are unaffected by this change, at least on the VEVO side of things.) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
