Seeing a lot of sources saying that, whilst Conchita is genderqueer, Tom Neuwirth (the 'creator' of Conchita) still identifies as a gay male? But you can't deny that Conchita raises interesting discussions about what we see as 'normal'. He's (or 'she's') just someone who expresses himself through his appearances and likes to dress/look a certain way. And on top of that he has a good voice and loves to sing. Who are we to judge? Let's not forget that we're all fans of a woman who has been blased for 'acting weird for attention', just because of the way she dresses. And there's no way in hell she would've been this famous without that. I understand, but it feels to me the votes are political. Their used to make a political statement against Russia. In other words she just wanted some attention. How will this help our community? I don't get it, people are disgusted (my mother said that she was about to puke).
