She didn't win just because she's a transs-xual. :toofunny: Eurovision is full of gimmicks, that doesn't mean you're gonna win. Ofcourse the beard helped, but the song is cool (like a Bond soundtrack) and her voice was great.

Exactly what I've just told my mum  :udidnt:

In think she was overrated but I am happy she won, just for the statement (even if I was not a fan of the beard and the idea behind it.) Also the song was fairly one of the best of the night.

No politics on Eurovision please! oh... LGBT rights *grab it*

This is true though. A lot of points were given to her to make a statement about equality and acceptance (and against Russia I assume :teehee: ). But we can not deny that she sang really well tonight.

Just yesterday she replied to me saying that she doesnt believe that she's going to win. I TOLD YOU SO BB :EMO:

And people who think she one only won because of her image are delusional. She's talented as hell and totally worth the victory. The fact that she dedicated her entry to a braver, peaceful, non-judging, loving, tolerant, and free world is just bonus material. She is like Gaga = there's TALENT behind the buzz.

Lol. She didnt won just because she is a trans-xual. Her song was sing by the public and she got the most applause. Not any transs-xual can do that. In 2011 Dana International didnt even get in the final.
the song was ok. But it was overrated. And it was just because of the beard. Nobody really knew that that Dana girl was a transs-xual.

Breaking: Netherlands won the semi, beating Conchita. Conclusion: Her freakshow image/promo practically got her the win in the final

Yeah, you'd never expect comments like those on a site such as this. Mess. And we sometimes ask ourselves why is the world in such **** as it is.

I could understand if one didnt like the song that is fine. but to discreatedher voice and to undermine her for who she is or that type of artistic way she wants to express is

Some ppl need to Google the origin of Drag and Gender bending
