Luc 4,775
Gay people themselves will get annoyed tbh. For the last year's I've noticed that the more "gay" entries by divas weren't getting a lot of support. Russia helped this year tbh Which should happen more often tbh. To at least keep that conservative audience so people like Dana International and Conchita Wurst can come once in a while to make them rethink their opinion. Honestly, I think that about 70% of all Europeans already know about Conchita now. She is so hyped now damn and then there's the 200 million Eurovision watchers already. Thanks to her there's some small progression imo. People are more acceptive. And the pressure against Russia which was shown by the Eurovision will probably help a bit in Russia and other East-european countries. I've heard that in the TV show after the Eurovision where a lot of politicians and other important people were 'discussing' her and everything and the writer of their song defended Conchita and said that Russia should rethink their anti-gay propaganda law. Isn't it amazing?
itsdominik 16,733
Because of Conchita Wurst's victory lots of politicians in Austria discuss about allowing homos-xual couples to adopt children here in Austria. This is actually HUGE. Also, lots of politicians, newspapers and tv shows are promoting equality, peace and compassions in general and demand to stop discrimination of minorities here. In fact, Conchita's victory brought a giant change. :)

Didymus 34,379
This is what I've been hoping for. Let's not cry out yet, though. Real change will come for a price. When her Eurovision glory is over, we'll see what actually changes and what stays the same. Her winning this competition was a strong statement and got a lot of people thinking though

When her Eurovision glory is over, we'll see what actually changes and what stays the same. Her winning this competition was a strong statement and got a lot of people thinking though This is basically what I was gonna say too. Hopefully some good comes out and her impact is lasting, but regardless of that she definitely got the conversation going
