Though Poland was my favourite (and I loved our UK entry this year), I was more than happy to see Conchita win. This has now sparked attention to certain issues that need to be addressed and will hopefully make traditionalists realise that the world is changing and it's time to move on with certain views and this is proof that Europe is ready to take that step. Oh, and I must say, it's amazing how, after a while, you get used to seeing a woman with a beard. We're raised to hold the vision of feminine beauty a certain way, but the beard surprisingly sets off her features quite nicely. She looks beautiful.
