Bebe 16,946
khm, yes, we are part of the GP, so Interscope might like it, but Interscope are not the GP and they are not the ones buying it Yes we are all part of the GP and it seems like the GP has had a far greater positive response to Sex Dreams than any of the other singles :) Interscope are professionals. They make money of this stuff and therefore do tests and checks to make sure the song is viable. Their opinion is greater than mine or yours as individuals. tsvet 671
It's Interscope's job to choose singles that will sell, so I think they'd probably have put public reception (which has been positive) into account. yeah, they chose Judas, thats all I have to say

ryhanna 3,507
yeah, they chose Judas, thats all I have to say They also chose Just Dance, Poker Face, LoveGame, Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro, Born This Way, The Edge of Glory and You & I. Bebe 16,946
yeah, they chose Judas, thats all I have to say You ever seen sports betting agencies? They a--lyse stats all day and end up making predictions that are correct 80% + of the time. You can't be correct on everything though, sometimes some variables change or don't react the way you expected them to. Sometimes there are upsets in sports and it is similar in this situation. The opinion of Interscope is still > the opinion of some individual. We are not just talking about Interscope though. There are other indicators WE have access to that would indicate Sex Dreams would be a successful single. It is the most liked single from the GP out of the choices and VEVO (another company owned by Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Google and Abu Dhabi Media) also have invested interest in what single Gaga chooses and they have shown support for Sex Dreams. panosmonster 1,466
I don't want Sex Dreams as a single BUT because it is talking about s-x it doesn't really tells that it won't be radio friendly. We Can't Stop and Blurred Lines are all about SEX and look the charts. (I support SWINE)

Mariano 958
Remember that Judas was the biggest hit off BTW in some countries Content - - - > Production - - - > Marketing - - - > Content - Lady Gaga writing her music (lyrics melodies concepts) Production - DJWS, Zedd/ Madeon/RedOne producing the song, making It risky/catchy/Innovative/wutever Marketing - The songs are being presented to the Label, and they start their marketing researches etc. . . If you think that they just listen to the songs and decide which sounds the best and then release It, you have NO idea about Business Edited September 4, 2013 by Mariano
